Monika Siergiej, RN

Founder/CEO

Monika Siergiej is registered nurse who has been practicing for over twenty years, and has been serving Sunset Park, Brooklyn as an emergency room nurse at NYU Langone for the past six years. Monika began building her business plan in the spring of 2019 after her experience of supporting a loved one through addiction rehabilitation. Between personal and professional experiences, Monika has seen firsthand the incredible and increasing need for addiction support services and the toll substance use disorder takes on individuals, families, and communities. 

Dr. James Herivaux

Addiction Medicine Psychiatrist

Dr. James Herivaux is a tri-lingual Addiction Medicine Psychiatrist with over 25 years of experience ​with working with those who suffer from co-occurring disorders, performing psychiatric evaluation, medication prescribing and/or medication management. He is also experienced in Addiction Medicine and utilizes MAT when working with those who suffer with substance use disorders. Dr. Herivaux conducts induction for those interested in MAT and stabilization on MAT while receiving services. 

Maria Mendez

Co-Founder/COO

Maria Mendez has over 20 years of experience in overseeing the overall daily operations of multiple locations certified by NYSOASAS. Establishment of program development, expansion, service delivery, and regulatory compliance. The development and implementation of program policies and standards of operations with the regulatory guidelines as well as insurance companies. The development of relationships with other community-based organizations. 

Migdalia Torres, CASAC 

Program Administrator Director

Dynamic Program Administrator, who is motivated, reliable professional with 15 years of experience in addiction counseling and program management. Experienced and outstanding, motivator to counselors and staff, including interpersonal, crisis management, and critical thinking skills. Empathetic and approachable at establishing positive rapport with coworkers and patients. Fosters productive working relationships. Strong team player. Interacts effectively with individuals of diverse cultures. Cultivates and encourages the nuances of verbal and non-verbal communication. Maintains # years renewal for 6 OASAS audits.
